I just upgraded my Firefox to 3.0.1 as well and I got an error saying that the Firebug add-on is not compatible with FF 3.0.1.
I'm sorry but wouldn't this be an issue for the developers of Firebug? Maybe they haven't yet or have no plans to update the add-on. I would be curious to find out. I think Firebug is an awesome tool and would love to continue using it.
