Thanks to some assistance from honza I am now up and running with FBTrace 1.8b2 and everything seems to be working correctly. Again, I have the situation that when FBTrace is running the JavaScript seems to display correctly in the Firebug window. Restart Firebug without FBTrace turned on, reload the page and I'm back to a corrupted display.
