I do some work for a promotions company which uses ICQ to keep in contact
with
various bands, clients and venues -- and me ! In this place, ICQ is a
genuine
part of the work environment, and and the firewall has to be able to deal
with it.
I can sympathise with people who struggle to find out how the beast works, I
never completely managed, just left blocks of ports open - a *far* from
satisfactory
solution, but probably the only one available when tech support don't answer
their
email.
