Well, that's not exactly right. If the set frequency is not where the non-CAT radio is set to, then the information FLdigi uses to calculate the logging frequency is wrong. Maybe the manual should tell the op to enter the actual radio dial frequency here if they are not using CAT. That's what they are supposed to do. If you do that, then Fldigi can calculate the waterfall frequencies so that they reflect the actual on the air frequencies. And that's useful. But maybe you just need to shut it off and tell them the radio dial frequency and the waterfall audio frequency and leave it at that. You don't have to have all of the bells and whistled on or visible.
