Never needs to log the contact. Then preconfigure the application as above. If they are still confused it's time to get a new set of volunteers. Did I hear that many of these novitiates are unlicensed operators? I sure hope there is a control operator present with a valid amateur radio license or that they are operating on frequencies other than those assigned to amateur radio.
