I haven't tried the bridge but landing on a carrier should still work i.e. you should be able to test this by psoitioning yourself such that you start up ontop of the terminal building :-)

Tried landing on the long bridge (not the golden gate). If you touch down very softly it seems to work, the wheels squeal and you can apply brakes but then you start to sink through the surface, then it's like you hit something and get bounced up into the air again. This is with the standard cvs code and the c310-3d.
While I was playing around I managed to take off upside down in the c310 :)
