Is it possible to place all the files for an aircraft in a single compressed
archive, and have FG read them in without permanently unpacking the whole
archive? This will get around the issue of how to spread the files
throughout the base package, as we do now, and it would be much easier to
distribute aircraft. Like fgfs --aircraft=F16.tgz

Could we then keep the airplanes in an online hanger?

And, the piece de resistance, for broadband users could we then load and run a
model over the web? Like fgfs
--aircraft=ftp://www.flightgear.org/hanger/F16.tgz

(no, I haven't been drinking)
