That is one way of doing it. By my count there are at least four different workarounds for the configuration snafu: -- LIB_POSTFIX during OSG compilation -- moving or copying the OSG libraries -- symlink -- LDFLAGS during SG and FG compilation/linkage The fact that workarounds exist for this bug seems to be rather strong evidence that the bug exists. The claim that everything just works "out of the box" is untenable. One option would be to document one or more of these workarounds. A better option would be to fix things like acinclude.m4 so that workarounds are no longer necessary, so that things really do work "out of the box". ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Planet: dedicated and managed hosting, cloud storage, colocation Stay online with enterprise data centers and the best network in the business Choose flexible plans and management services without long-term contracts Personal 24x7 support from experience hosting pros just a phone call away. http://p.sf.net/sfu/theplanet-com _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list Flightgear-devel@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-devel
