I'm also in favor of this move .... trees had barely any effect on
framerate here , before being added to shaders.3d clouds are
managable. Water reflection never had much impact (until my last
update) , but i understand that its a work in progress...
Enabling land-mass and transition effects will freeze the simulation
for a few seconds before it resumes at 9-10 fps , from an average of
30-40.
Im still scratching my head over the crop textures , but i'll say no
more about that ;)
So having more control of which effects i can use and still being able
to fly would be fantastic.
