I'm using Windows 2000 Professional Version 5-0.2195 Service Pack 4 Build 2195 Pc is a Laptop DELL Latitude-C810 Memory: 512 Mb Audio: ESS Maestro PCI Audio (WDM) Video: Nvidia GeForce2 Go, 32 Mb, drivers 6.14.10.4482
I desinstalled and reinstalled the win32 exe version 0.9.6, and the problem is always the same.
I launch fgrun and after the flightgear config, the initial window opens and some time later it get closed.
There is no other particular hardware. I have installed many kinds of different software and I have never experienced this kind of behaviour.

These descriptions sounded soo interesting that I just tried to run FG under Windows myself: I didn't have any of the described problems, on the other hand I was "only" using a version of Win2k - with the latest service packs installed ...so I am not sure whether the described behaviour might be specific to any particular version of windows -i.e.: What versions are you using, is there anything else common with those platforms where these problems occur ?
