That looks like it, alright. What was the approximate latitude and
longitude? About 42°28′46″N, 93°38′30″W? I suppose that'll teach me to
go ahead and check FG to see if it's in there before I think to add it.
But I digress, I'm a goober._

I wasn't sure if those would be in the obstruction database, but I
suspected they would be. I didn't outright ask the guy for that specific
source, but either he actually didn't know of any publicly available
sources, or he wasn't telling me, for "security" reasons. I also didn't
know what the specific name of the database was to ask for :(

I can find out which specific model they are. I know they're from
General Electric. Perhaps the guy will be more specific about what model
they are, and I can get some good pictures and specs from GE, and do a
model for them. I want some practice doing something.

As for making them work correctly: Is it possible to A) have them point
in the direction of the wind (I assume they can turn like a regular
windmill) and B) operate based on real world wind directions? I don't
know much about nasal scripting, and I can barely get Flightgear to
compile, but this seems like a real possibility. They really wouldn't
need very much AI to do this, and I can't see it as being a huge drain
on the system. For instance, only turn them and change their rotation
when the weather data changes. Also, have three or four randomly turned
off. For some reason, even on windy days I see three or four not
rotating, and I don't understand why this is (other than maintainence).

Using Tomcat but need to do more? Need to support web services, security?
Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier
Download IBM WebSphere Application Server v.1.0.1 based on Apache Geronimo
