Over lunch, I tried a few things on astyle (never having used it before)
and it seems to be OK, though I think I saw a few funnies...

Anyway, I settled on:

$ astyle -a -C -S -M -m0 -U -s2 -t8 -p -x -o -O -k3 Fl.cxx  


As that seems to look pretty similar to what we had anyway, for the
handful of files I tested.

But, I'm not that familiar with astyle, so some better set of options
may well exist!
