Hmm, did a little more playing. Maybe this slightly simpler set of options is better:
astyle -a -C -S -m0 -U -t8 -s2 -p -x -o -O -k3 Fl.cxx Or perhaps even astyle -a -C -S -m0 -U -s2 -p -x -o -O -k3 Fl.cxx Note that the ordering of the -t and -s options is significant... Also, I've tried a few more files now, and sometimes it is getting confused and doing some really stupid formatting, so I'm not that impressed with how it works... In particular, although with these settings it is supposed to leave "column 1" comments untouched (which suits us for our doxygen comments and so forth) occasionally it is indenting them (though not otherwise molesting them) and I don't know why...
