I don't thin that anybody wanted to say that there is less work or less effort being put into FLTK2. I generally read through all submitted code. FLTK2 has received some graet features that I would love to use. The problem remains: FLTK1 has fewer features, but is incredible stable. FLTK2 OTOH has many innovative features, but also has many many bugs, IDE support is flaky at best, and it hasn't seen a structured release candidate in years. > Speaking of issues - IMHO the biggest issue here is that none cared > for > years to integrate patches into both branches. I resent that. I have spent two years doing nothing but. Two of us even donated $200 each to pay for the last remaining bug fixes in 1.1.7. > That is why we have > developers who have no idea that something advanced even exist in > FLTK 2 To say that is just silly.
