I don't thin that anybody wanted to say that there is less work or  
less effort being put into FLTK2. I generally read through all  
submitted code. FLTK2 has received some graet features that I would  
love to use.

The problem remains: FLTK1 has fewer features, but is incredible  
stable. FLTK2 OTOH has many innovative features, but also has many  
many bugs, IDE support is flaky at best, and it hasn't seen a  
structured release candidate in years.

I resent that. I have spent two years doing nothing but. Two of us  
even donated $200 each to pay for the last remaining bug fixes in 1.1.7.
