I know that fltk-1.1.9 is the best one for me now.

In fact, I want to develop a series of portable cross-platform applications (such as TagSparker available at http://sparkaround.com/download/) based on fltk. I hope these applications is portable, small in size and easy to support many platforms(as many as possible). And I am not sure I have understood your advice here completely. Can you describe your good results in detail? Do you mean that I can migrate some old win9x codes to linux (or just run the win9x binaries with wine) and rewrite these codes with fltk-1.3 to support more platforms?
