Jeremias, Jason,it looks like the only way to properly deploy maven bundles is to actually use maven. I have finally managed to install the bundles into a local directory for JEuclid, but the same process should apply for the apache rsync-repository [1].
The results can be seen at http://jeuclid.sourceforge.net/m2/ in particular http://jeuclid.sourceforge.net/m2/org/apache/xmlgraphics/fop/ andhttp://jeuclid.sourceforge.net/m2/org/apache/xmlgraphics/xmlgraphics- commons/
you may just be able to take the files from there and copy then to the apache rsync-repository.
How this was done? If you use maven, you need to create setting for the repository in your .m2/settings.xml and then you can deploy using the maven-deploy-plugin. I have documented the whole process in [2].
In the hope that this helps. [1] http://www.apache.org/dev/repository-faq.html[2] http://jeuclid.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/jeuclid/trunk/jeuclid- fop/README

I've lost enough time on something I don't need.I'm sorry for your frustration, and want you to know that I greatly appreciate the work you've put in. I'm sure many others do as well. So thank you!I've prepared Maven bundles as perhttp://maven.apache.org/guides/mini/guide-ibiblio-upload.html and triedto submit them. Carlos closes those requests [1][2] with a pointer tothe ASF's repository FAQ. I guess that's fine for projects using Maven. We are not.>At any rate, it looks like the layout of the stagingdirectory is totally different to what I prepared in the bundle. So I'dhave to start all over and have to adjust the build scripts again. I have no time for that. You have the bundles. Do with them as you please. If anyone wants tosend patches to Batik, FOP and XML Graphics Commons for producing Mavenartifacts, feel welcome to do so.I'll take a crack at it. It doesn't look like it's very far off. --Jason
