That might not be a bad addition, but IMO placing a constraint of no value
on a T card seems artificially limiting at this point, esp. since (A) the
spec implies it's okay and (B) it currently works but the value is ignored
(so there's no backwards compatibility issue there). i saw that you already
closed the branch, so it seems to be resolved, but i'm _very_ interested in
not causing any sort of incompatibility, so i very much appreciate
discussions on this level of detail.
