I agree with that! But for people who DO specify the password
in the URL it's a problem: should this password be saved or not?
It's impossible to give an answer to that: saving it could be
a security risk, so that never should be done without prompting!
The current behavior - not saving it - results in unexpected
behavior in a succeeding "fossil commit". Therefore,
prompting seems the way to go here.
