Hi

this is just a wild guess but I would say not supported, as the reader in my 2 
years old compaq 6730b is not supported (aes2810) and I doubt HP would use 
something older in their new laptops (a strange deviation from authentec 
devices though)

maybe you can try to add the IDs to the existing DigitalPersona driver, and 
hope the device is compatible
