No I was more looking for info about where the repository is (cvs? svn?) and tips on building, but you're right, it's a swipe type device and probably would entail more work than I might be able to do.

Complaining to HP might be the way to go. I don't think they support Linux on their laptops which may be why you quoted support.

Nope, just went to the HP site and it lists only Windows (2000 -> 7) along with a little note "If your operating system is not listed above, HP does not have software or driver downloads available for this product in that operating system".

I submitted an email complaining but I'm sure it'll do nothing at all.
