Unfortunately, 138a is the vendor Id for Validity Sensors Inc. It's listed as DigitalPersona device by a mistake. Validity uses DigitalPersona software to drive the device, but they have their own USB filter drivers for the device on Windows. Check these: http://www.reactivated.net/fprint/wiki/Unsupported_devices#Validity_VFS101 http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=4476 We all have been fighting to get these devices supported under fprint, but, it's still not done yet.
