Not for Serial mice. Wheel is no trouble at all, and IIRC it can be 
detected on the fly. No discussion on where it is possible or not, I 
have it working so it is possible.

No. Correcting: It works with ANY serial mice, 7 or 8 bits MS, LT or 
MSys. ANY combination in ANY order. All it takes is moving the mouse a 
few milimiters and it is working again.

Please, just belive me, I have over 30 years of experience tweeking 
serial bits ;-)
