Hi Arkady, > /3 - force 3-button mode (for Microsoft and PS/2 mice only) > force wheel support (for PS/2 mice)
> BTW, /3 option was used to force middle button support through L+R > extension. Now there remains only option. If /3 has no effect now, it should be removed from /? text. The "enable PS2 wheel" option should have another name then. The /o option can be removed, it is so new that nobody will miss it yet (it means "disable all wheels"). Note that it is not "FORCE PS2 wheel" but ENABLE - the detection already tries to get hold of the wheel, but you cannot force it if it does not react ;-). As discussed, there is no need to disable the wheel on COM port mice. Of course one could change the whole /o option from "disable all wheels" into "enable PS2 wheels" but "o" is an odd letter for that ;-). > I doubt. Why, if there is MS+wheel protocol? Probably pre-Logitech MS-3button mice used L+R=Mtoggle protocol but were useable as 2button with classic MS protocol anyway.
