Bernd already figured this out, thanks for report and fix :-)
Ok, turns out that from there, I could press F2... So installation of 1.4-RC1 in VMware Workstation did go well... Lynx was working fine... Some games were making sound (believe to be speaker emulation)... that I did not seems to have in Virtualbox. Sound was not playing horrible sounds like in Virtualbox...

Well, please update the many "bug reports" for games which did not work properly in virtualbox. Those should be reported as virtualbox problems, not as bugs of the games. At least THOSE which do work in VMware or on actual hardware ;-) Thanks!
