I vaguely remember Desqview from the time. It was an expensive
package, and I was only a student so could not afford it. But I know
it was a powerful system.

There's a note on wikipedia about the availability of Desqview. This
is owned by Symantec, although they haven't done anything with it, and
their corporate counsel doesn't seem to respond to requests to clarify
its status. So while it's "abandonware", at least in the US it's not
technically legal to distribute (IANAL) so I'll stay away from it.


Write once. Port to many.
Get the SDK and tools to simplify cross-platform app development. Create 
new or port existing apps to sell to consumers worldwide. Explore the
