I guess I can see how a merchant might want to offer a Hotmail clone, but
this is out of scope for FreeTrade. On the other hand, it wouldn't be hard
create such an application using the FreeEnergy model, thus allows those
screen and action modules to be dropped into a FreeTrade site. If anyone's
interested in starting a project, I can make it a Working-Dogs project
(w/CVS,
Mailing List, etc).

Yeah, good idea. JJ and I have plans for a sophisticated logging system
that
takes advantage of PHP's link to syslog. We want to log all errors, and
logging
failed logins is a good idea, too.

Allowing users to write PHP through the Web is a high risk. And it's pretty
easy
to create a text file in the screens directory. The only trick is
remembering
to add an entry to the ScreenInfo array. My argument has been that if you
can't
handle those two things, you shouldn't have the power to add new code.

Can you elaborate?

Yeah, this is a good idea.

We are following the ECML standard, which is an XML language. I think we've
agreed in principal on complying with XHTML when that standard is in wide
use.
Until then, the plan is to change to lowercase.

> 7) Auction support.

This is something we've wanted for awhile, but it's tricky. We'll try to
get it into 2.0.
