No, the concept is all wrong.

You take the templates and the content on the server, figure out what browser the user 
has, and make them a page especially for their browser, then send them the HTML.

Or, you send the XML content from your server to another server, so they can do the 
same with your content and their templates.

That's all.

I for one will NEVER force my users to upgrade to the latest M$ browser 
just so they can "view my content". That leaves HTML (the lowest common 
denominator). I don't even like javascript and that is a hell of a lot more 
pervasive than XML.
In business I want EVERYONE to be a potential customer. If you don't its 
your prerogative.
