AT&T told us they were able to simulate 80,000 users, one of the FL public
school systems is proxying over 30,000 users through a single proxy, and one
of my clients runs roughly 3,500 users through a single proxy and it isnt'
breaking a sweat.. bear in mind these are all version 4.x statistics. 5.x
is supposed to be better (w/ lower CPU overhead as well as a more
centralized mgt console, e.g. you can now copy a config from one server to
another. GO CSM!!).

Trust me... MS Proxy will probably never be able to come anywhere NEAR CSM.
I personally would'nt inflict MS Proxy on my worst enemies...

2000 may be an upgrade, but it's like trading sh*t for slightly better sh*t.
You just can't polish a turd.
