The problem is that the G3 isn't fast enough to decode. I can play
XviDs on my Wallstreet II 266 in very low res mode and it still drops
frames. You really need a G4 to play them. I've been hunting a G4
for a while with no success. I have the DVD drive and decoder. I
know that a G3-AIO with a G4/366 will play XviDs just fine, and since
they are basically the same hardware as the Wallstreet II's, I'm
willing to bet a G4/466 or 500 will play them just fine. I did have a
G3/466, but it wasn't able to play video files even at that speed.

Probably not without a G4 upgrade.

Probably not due to slow cpu unless you have a G4 upgrade.

Copied disks will depend on the drive being able to read them.
Haven't had much success on my Wallstreet.
