Do I need to put the brand new EIDE drive in the USB 2.0 enclosure,
and first format it with Disk Utility, or will simply connecting it to
my 12" PB G4 1.33 MHz running OS 10.5.7, and then running Carbon Copy
Cloner do the whole job for me, including backing up the whole old
drive which is still inside the PB?

What settings do I have to use with CCC to get the whole shebang, or
as much as I can get, when I go to use CCC for my maiden voyage on her
hopefully reliable sails?

After this preparation, can I simply swap the newly cloned WD drive
into my PowerBook and expect all to work perfectly, or are there any
other steps I need to take?

Thanks,
stanton
