I've notified a couple of software developers that their updates for
Snow Leopard compatibility cause the applications to crash immediately
upon attempted launch on my Pismo. Apparently, in at least one way that
developers are updating the software, G3 CPUs are no longer supported.
The crash log is very short, and concludes with the following:

Link (dyld) error:

incompatible cpu-subtype

My advice would be to _not_ accept automatic update notifications for
awhile, and only do updates if you have a backup of the application, so
that you can revert if need be.
