I already had this happen with apps after 10.5 came out and authors updated for 10.5. I talked with a few authors and the two main reasons for discontinuing G3 support were/are: 1. Optimization for altivec /sse2/ sse3 2. taking advantage of 10.5's new built-in features like sqlite DB support. I don't really expect video game authors to keep publishing GameCube titles either even though just like my ibook its still a useful and capable piece of G3 hardware. Is the ppc linux versions still supporting the G3? maybe thats a way to go since there has been a bunch of advances in user friendliness over the past couple years.
