Here's some ideas that may help, but don't expect miracles, it will likely stutter still:

1) download the file so it's on your HD locally rather than streamed.
2) when offered as an option, select HTML5 or other formats over Flash format. 3) close all other applications (including Dashboard) and use something like SpeedFreak to give all the CPU to the single video playback application. 4) for Flash videos, use the newest beta 10.1 Flash Player which is slightly more efficient than 10.0., assuming it still works on G3 PPC CPUs?
5) cross your fingers
6) get mad and get a new MacBook
