The main reason I finally gave in and bought a MacBook was because of

Well, well, well...someone has said it, and what a shame it is. That a
brand new computer had to be bought because the older one can no longer
play video online. Yet the Pismo was built with a DVD player. What a
shame indeed, what a waste. My P3 laptop, of similar age with the Pismo,
plays Youtube videos online without a problem. Maybe people could be
economical and pick these up, just to watch video online and help with
e-waste. I hate waste, that's all. And that it's e-waste makes it worse.
A poor child somewhere will have to strip your Pismo down someday when
it's dumped at his/her shores

surely will not have the right equipment for protection to take apart
your G3 that can no longer play video. Go on, call this a rant; fine.
