Mine is/was a 12" 500 MHz dual USB that I bought in 2002. It was doing great
until one day a few months ago when the video died about a day after giving
some indications of video problems. Not much warning. I took it to the
local Apple store and they said the logic board needed to be replaced, and
that I shouldn't bother. I can hear the hard drive when I start it up, but
zero video, either on the screen or when I tried the video port. I took it
apart and "looked" at the logic board to see if I could see any solder
disconnects, but a visual inspection didn't show anything that I could
notice.

I love/d that machine. Great WiFi, battery life, size. I wish they'd come
out with another 12" machine.
