I'm on the fence. I really want one, and can make a very good case for
one.. but! The lack of multitasking and Flash just really did it in for
me, honestly. Flash I can live without, but multitasking? The lack of
multitasking annoys me on my iPhone 3G, I'm sure on the iPad it would
drive me absolutely crazy as I'm a big time multitasker. Were that to
be fixed, I'd likely jump on.

For now, however, I'm going to buy a different mac, I think. I'm torn
between a sweet offer for a 1.5 12in AlBook, or to just finally cave and
get a new MacBook Pro. My 500mhz iBook and 550mhx TiBook are both
getting a little long in the tooth, and the "netbook" I bought to use
for my M.S. program (ASUS 1201N, fantastic machine.. but..).. is a
little too high res on small screen for my aging eyes.

Suffice to say, I'm extremely exited about the iPad, but I just can't
bring myself to pay that much for what is essentially a larger version
of what my wife and I already have (and yes, the lack of multitasking
annoys even my very non-tech wife on her iPhone).
