I do have a question or two about the iPad. I love Apple products, and as soon as the iPhone makes it to Verizon I plan to get one -- but in the meantime, I'm not sure I see the point of the iPad. It's bigger and clunkier than my Palm TX -- I can't put it in my pocket -- and so far as I can see it isn't as functional as my laptop. And I virtually never "read" books any more -- I nearly always listen to them on my Palm. I don't presently feel any huge need to have an intermediate gadget between the two.
