Very true, Felix, but maybe it's more like an addiction.  At the Univ. I
work at part-time, the internet has been up and down all evening--everyone
who knows I'm staff keeps asking me in a panic if I know when the 'net will
be back up. (If I could charge for crystal ball usage I'd be rich right now.
 My favorite was an instructor who asked me if the outage was temporary or
permanent.  I wanted to tell him that I hoped temporary.  Permanent would
mean no more internet---EVER.  :) )
