Well, the multitasking argument just went down in flames. Apple's iPhone OS 4 is going to introduce multitasking on the iPad this fall, and on the iPhone and iPod Touch this summer. Still no flash or Java— odds are, Apple's got enough pull to start bringing HTML5 to the fore, so I'm not to worried about it.
