Well, well! That was a little harsh. I bought both my SL disk, and my
netbook from reputable vendors with my hard earned cash. Installing SL
on it is no different than installing Tiger (or Leopard or whatever)
on several machines without a family license --guilty, anyone?
No, not harsh. The reality is that the license explicitly states
that OS X can only be installed/used on Apple-branded products.
Apple does not offer netbooks of any type. So putting OS X on such a
computer is a license violation - punishable by forfeiture of
multiple body parts, your bank account(s), and whatever else the
lawyers want.
