Hi Sheryl,

1) For internet browsing and email, give Classilla a try. It's an OS 9
browser for the 21st century, made by a very talented young man on the
list by the name of Cameron Kaiser. For installing OS X, I wouldn't go
with a HDD smaller than 20GB, just to be comfortable.

2) There are plenty of good wireless cards out there. Cheap, too.

For OS 9: Lucent Wavelan Silver, or Orinoco. Works with the Airport
drives.
For OS X: Look for cards with the Broadcom chipset. There are several
Belkin cards, for instance, a Sonnet, and the Dell 1300 and 1350, all
of which work with the Airport drivers. And there are Ralink drivers
that work with cards with different chipsets, Ralink or otherwise,
although that's more of a mixed bag. I can be more specific once I
look them up --I'm writing off the top of my head here.

3) There is a DVD drive for the Wallstreet, but you also need a DVD
decoder PC card, without which it won't work. You can't only play DVDs
on OS 9, though. Movies play well, and the speakers are surprisingly
good. It can't be a tad jittery, though, depending on your CPU.

You can get all of the above used in the LEM Swap List, eBay, and
other venues, and won't set you back much. Or you can sell your
Wallstreet for parts and get a newer, more versatile machine --a
Pismo, say. Remember, although it's not advisable to spend a lot on
these all beasts, it all depends on how attached are you to them. I
have a tricked out Wallstreet and I love it, and because of that fact
I have spent on it more money than it's reasonable.

Best,

Felix
