You are keeping track correctly --there are only two PC slots for all
those cards. I usually keep the wireless card in one and switch the
other between a USB card and the DVD decoder, as needed. You can add
Firewire, too, like John points out.

Steps 1 and 2 you will find easy. G3 or G4 Wallstreet CPU upgrades are
hard to come by these days, though --I lucked out and got a Sonnet G4
500 on the list, but they are "rarer than hen's teeth," like the
person who sold it to me put it. But maxing out the RAM will give it a
big boost., anyway.
