Darn I want to find that hen. I been looking eveywhere for a G4 for my Wally.
Someone said a G3 292 runs faster than a G3 300 in the Wallstreet, I put a
300 in one of mine so I could replace my other Wally's 233 with a
292, Can anyone support this claim?
According to this
http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00996.html
that will depend on whether your 233 was Series I or Series II
Daughtercards of 250 and 292 Wallstreets will only run on Series I
motherboards.
Also does anyone know if the logic boards are all the same in the
Wallstreet's?
I'm thinking the Daughter cards are the difference in the processor
and cache??
Yes, but there are system bus speed issues. Series II motherboards
will only run at 66MHz. Series I 250 and 292 daughtercards will try
to drive the mobo at 83MHz.
