first, check with external monitor if damage is limited to the screen, then 
less expensive way will be to buy another pismo with screen working, but my 
experience with his predecessor, wally, is that replacing screen is not easy 
job, but affordable by yourself: otherwise cost of replacing will be matching 
with a new computer, I guess will take at least one to two hours job ... plus 
spare screen
