I have Ubuntu 9.04 on my Pismo along with OX X.4 and OS 9.  I don't have any 
problem with them.  OS X ( and presumably OS 9) can't read the linux partition 
but that's not a problem for me.  I can access the Mac partition from the 
Ubuntu side IIRC.  The boot loader works just fine.  I'm using YABOOT I think, 
whatever the Ubuntu installer put in there.
