I picked up a new Maxtor hard drive today.
Got home and opened up the box and to my surprise
found a Quantum drive. Now I know that Maxtor
bought out Quantum but I wanted a Maxtor drive.
And purchesed one at least that's what I believed I was
getting. This does not seem right to me. Nothing on
the box said it contained or may contain a Quantum
drive. Can they get away with this?
I have had good luck with Maxtor drives and that
is what I wanted. I've never used a ATA Quantum drive
any opinions
