I got it at Circuit city. It was in a Maxtor box and represented
as such. Nothing indicated that it was anything but Maxtor.
inside with the install guide right on top was a note from Maxtor
that read  IMPORTANT NEWS and then went on to explain that
Maxtor and Quantum has merged and the drive included meets Maxtors 
rigorous quality and reliability standards. But they still 
misrepresented themsellfs . Why can't they put it in a Quantum box.
