Actually it does. It was made by the people at Quantum, whose ATA
disks are somewhat inferior to Maxtors. Sure, the moneys going to
the same place, but its using Quantum techniques not Maxtors.
Personally, I'd not worry about it. However, if you desperately
wanted a Maxtor you should be able to raise inferno.
