Ron- So you know, conflict catcher is kind of a different beast. Basically when the macOS starts up, it has its normal system files and behaviors. But it also has things called extensions which you can install, which when you restart patch the operating system and give it additional functionality or change the way it would normally react. Unfortunately, sometimes those extensions can cause conflicts with other programs that are expecting the OS to behave a certain way. What conflict catcher does is to let you startup with some extensions, see if you have the problem, add more, etc and keeps track of it so you don�t have to on a piece of paper... You want to be very careful about some of the things out there on your mac that could be causing more harm than good, some of them being a lot of the norton suite (like crashguard, etc...
