My thoughts exactly.  I'm running through a couple days backlog in list
digests and was hoping someone had brought this up.  I can see you spending
$300 or $400 on the old machine.  And you could be buying into some driver
problems with running new peripherals through adaptors on the old G3.  I
suspect you'd also want to be using new applications like Photoshop Elements
which do best on a newer computer.  If you can come up with the extra
dollars, a relatively recent iMac would be a much better investment for the
future.
